From 22 to 27 June, Pettorano sul Gizio will once again transform into a film set for an entire week, hosting the second edition of KinoAppennino, organised by Rewilding Apennines. Film professionals and enthusiasts will come together to produce short films of every genre in record time, giving priority to the strong bond between nature and culture that the village perfectly embodies.

For six days in July, the KinoApennino event saw Italy’s Central Apennine mountains transformed into an open-air film workshop. Guided by creative filmmakers, local residents stepped in front of the camera to help craft a range of moving short films — captivating audiences and sparking fresh enthusiasm for rewilding.

For Rewilding Apennines, 2024 concluded with a special event: the premiere of the short film “Giro di vite – Crackdown”. This artistic work was created to raise public awareness about crimes against wildlife.
