Beyond the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, similar incidents are being reported throughout the region. A handful of despicable criminals, aided by the complete absence of any preventive monitoring on the ground, cast a shadow of shame over the entire Abruzzo community.

Salviamo l’Orso and Rewilding Apennines urgently call on the relevant authorities and municipalities to secure the hazardous situations identified and described in the reports sent to them in recent days.

The two organizations have recently organized events dedicated to young people to address the theme of rewilding, the applications on the territory in the Central Apennines and discuss together the actions that people can put in place to increase the movement.
