Rewilding Apennines is enhancing its work in the Central Apennines and, accordingly, needs to strengthen the communications sector.
Rewilding Apennines offers a part-time job opportunity (50% FTE; 20 hr./week) for a Communications Officer to contribute to the mission of increasing the rewilding culture through the engagement of relevant and strategic stakeholders, as well as of general public, in the promotion and dissemination of the rewilding principles and initiatives at local, national and international level.
The Communications Officer will work closely with the Communications Manager of Rewilding Apennines and the whole team to contribute to develop the promotional materials, to create targeted and engaging contents for the website and social media, to develop the engagement tools for the followers, to take care of the relationships with local, national and international media and to actively support the communication strategy of the organization. Moreover, he/she will participate in the meetings with the central team of communication of Rewilding Europe and will relate to the colleagues from the other rewilding landscapes in Europe.
The position is very operational and results-oriented, for which a good dose of creativity and the ability to work independently are required, with a base in the rewilding area of the Central Apennines.
