World Earth Day 2021

In the 51° World Earth Day we want to pay tribute to the ecosystem services of the Central Apennines rewilding area.

The natural processes that generate from here provide clean air, drinkable water, edible fruits and plants, meat, timber, renewable materials for subsistence and work, enchantable landscapes to enjoy with body and mind, protection from landslides and floods, CO2 sequestration, mitigation of climate change, high biodiversity rate that indicates a healthy environment, iconic species to celebrate, energy that renews itself, the peace of senses… and much more!
